working together

each session is shaped through listening, consent, and your body’s pace. you’re welcome to arrive as you are. we’ll find a rhythm that works for you.

  • sessions are shaped through slow, continuous touch, guided by consent, attention, and the pace of your nervous system.

i generally recommend beginning with a longer session. time allows the body to settle, for trust to build, and for sensation to unfold without urgency. this creates the conditions for deeper rest, awareness, and relation.

the work draws from lomi lomi, with long, flowing strokes using hands and forearms, combined with attentive listening to your body throughout.

rather than working toward a fixed outcome, sessions support a shift in pace, particularly from tension or vigilance toward spaciousness, contact, and a different quality of being in the body.

  • where needed, sessions can include more focused work with areas of holding or tension.

this is integrated slowly, without breaking the overall rhythm of the session. depth is approached through listening rather than force, allowing your body to be met with pressure at its own pace.

  • each session begins with either a short introduction to the practice and what to expect, or a check-in to understand how you’re arriving and anything you’d like the session to hold.

you’ll be invited to change into a clean sarong in privacy, with optional disposable underwear. once ready, you’ll come to lie face-down on the table and settle, with the sarong adjusted to cover your body.

the table heat can be adjusted to your liking. the space is warm and quiet, with gentle music unless you prefer otherwise. the practice begins with greeting the soul, allowing it to arrive in the body before gently preparing for the first rounds of oiling.

using slow, continuous touch, your body is fully oiled. soothing, wave-like strokes and restful holds move across and hold the body. the pace is intentionally spacious, allowing your nervous system to settle and your body to be met in its own time. if requested, deeper pressure or more focused work can be offered, always within your boundaries and never forced.

at the midpoint, you’ll be invited to turn onto your back for similar rounds of oiling on the front of the body. from here, we can stay with the full-body flow or give attention to particular areas, depending on what feels needed or important.

your body remains carefully draped throughout. we move in a way that stays within the comfort of your boundaries. if there was any uncertainty at the beginning around preferences for the chest area, there’s a gentle check-in at this midpoint, once you’ve had a chance to feel the pace and quality of touch.

everything is guided through ongoing consent and a quality of loving presence, with space to adjust, pause, or redirect at any point.

at the end, the session closes with a gentle foot-washing ritual, and you’ll be welcomed back with time to land slowly. you’re welcome to share in person, or remain in quiet rest.

  • my approach is grounded in trauma-conscious radical slowness, attention, and relation. my commitment is to remain present, to move at a pace that allows your body to settle, and to hold a quality of safety that you can feel.

it’s a completely non-sexual, full body practice where nothing is assumed. your body sets the pace, and we work from what feels right for you in the moment. areas of the body can be included or left out, and your preferences are always respected without pressure or persuasion.

this work is about meeting your body as it is, and creating the conditions where it can settle, respond, and be listened to, rather than following a fixed set of techniques or aiming for a particular outcome.

consent is established at the beginning of the session, so your body can settle without needing to constantly respond or check in. you’re always free to pause, redirect, or withdraw consent at any point. i offer a simple touch-based system, informed by trauma-aware and embodied consent practices, to support communication without needing to speak: one tap signals slowing down, two taps means moving away from an area or stopping. this offers a clear way to communicate if something doesn’t feel right, without disrupting your rest.

i hold neurodivergent ways of processing and communicating in mind. silence is always optional, and we can shape communication in a way that feels supportive for you.

my work creates conditions where your body can be met differently. sensation, memory, and presence are given space to unfold at their own pace.

  • sessions can be received occasionally or as part of an ongoing practice.

some people come at moments of transition, special occasions or intensity. others return regularly to support rest, integration, or connection with their body.

we can find a rhythm that feels supportive and accessible for you.

    • arrive in comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little oil on

    • avoid heavy meals just before your session

    • if you can, give yourself some time away from screens before and after, to support your arrival into the session

    • bring a towel if you’d like to have a quick shower after your session
